This Privacy Policy explains how Elite Med Rep ("Elite Med Rep," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Elite Med Rep course platform and mobile app (the "Service").
Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information created as you use the Service:
- Account details: your name and email address, and your password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
- Profile details you choose to add, such as your territory, role, course goal, and profile photo.
- Learning activity: lessons viewed and completed, quiz responses, notes you write, bookmarks, and progress.
- Practice recordings you choose to make in the app, and any transcripts generated from them.
- Community posts and messages you submit.
- Basic technical data needed to run the Service, such as log and device information.
How we use it
- To provide the course, track your progress, and personalize your experience.
- To let instructors and program admins support and coach you within your cohort.
- To send account and program emails (for example sign-in, password reset, and announcements).
- To maintain security and improve the Service.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contract and only as needed: cloud hosting, database, transactional email, and video delivery providers. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Your choices and account deletion
You can view and update your profile in the app. You can delete your account, which removes your personal profile data, from the app's Profile screen, or by emailing us at the address below and we will delete your account and associated personal data.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted passwords and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
The Service is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
